Interior treated surfaces can be cleaned with a damp microfibre cloth and then buffed dry. Exterior surfaces should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth, then rinsed with water and buffed dry.
No the coating is only 2 molecules thick and is transparent. It will not crack or discolour over time. It is not like a lacquer or varnish.

We treated our shower floor and walls with the grout sealant, and it has done a wonderful job. So easy to clean, and no discoloration. We also purchased the glass cleaner/protector, it is working beautifully too.
